With the deepening of the national innovation-driven development strategy,the innovation elements are clustered and flowed between regions,thus forming a rational industrial division of labor between regions,promoting the overall improvement of regional innovation ability,fostering regional innovation growth poles,and enhancing the radiation-driven function of regional innovation,finally providing a huge acceleration thrust for regional economic development.This paper takes the 30 cities of the Central Plains urban agglomeration from 2010 to 2016 as the research object to explore the status of innovation in the Central Plains urban agglomeration.Based on this,this paper can provide a reference for promoting the optimal allocation of innovation resources,accelerating the dynamic flow of innovation elements,and promoting the development of innovation of the Central Plains urban agglomeration.Based on the literature review of regional innovation ability,regional innovation linkage,regional innovation spatial association network and other related literatures at home and abroad,this paper studies the relevant theoretical foundations of regional innovation system theory,spatial interaction theory and social network theory,and then analyzes the evolution mechanism of regional innovation spatial association network.Subsequently,this paper constructs a evaluation index system of regional innovation ability and uses principal component analysis method to measure the innovation ability of the 30 cities of the Central Plains urban agglomeration during 2010 to 2016.Then,this paper corrects the defects of the classical gravity model,and based on the modified gravity model,measures the intensity of innovation linkage between the cities of the Central Plains urban agglomeration during 2010-2016.This paper further uses the social network method to analyze the density,centrality and cohesion subgroup of the innovation spatial association network of the Central Plains urban agglomeration during 2010-2016 with Ucinet software,then uses ArcGIS software to visually analyze the innovation ability and innovation spatial association network of the Central Plains urban agglomeration in 2010,2013 and 2016.The results show that:(1)From the overall trend,the innovation ability and innovation linkage of the Central Plains urban agglomeration in 2010-2016 can be expressed as “steady progress and development momentum decline”;(2)The spatial distribution of the innovation ability in the Central Plains urban agglomeration is characterized by the polarization phenomenon of “taking Zhengzhou as the center,and the northern region is stronger than the southeast region”;(3)There are “core” areas and “edge” areas in the innovation linkage of the Central Plains urban agglomeration;(4)The innovation spatial association network of the Central Plains urban agglomeration is still in the “single-core drive” mode;(5)It is easier to establish a close and frequent innovative connection relationship with its geographically adjacent city in the Central Plains urban agglomeration.Finally,based on the analysis results,this paper proposes some related policy recommendations to promote the innovation development of the Central Plains urban agglomeration,such as:(1)Optimizing the rational allocation of innovative elements,effectively improving the city's innovation ability;(2)Deepening inter-city innovation cooperation,building an inter-city innovation development pattern;(3)Accelerating the implementation of innovation model reform,and developing innovation spatial association network.
