The main purpose of this study is the evaluation of starting a cider factory in Oleiros,a small city next to Coru?a,in the Spanish region of Galicia.This project aims to produce and sell organic sparkling cider with the best Galician apples,and shape it into a sustainable business.Our mission is that sustainability,growth and profitability can coexist together,so a distinct feature of our business is that all the stakeholders must create a commitment to optimize resources and to become more environmentally friendly.The study follows a logical process.To start with,we did a Market Research about the current and future situation of the cider market worldwide,and especially in Spain.In the thesis,we started with an introduction part explaining the reasons for conducting this research.Next,in the Literature Review part,we define some business and technical topics that we have used for a more complete analysis of the project.Then we explained the market gap,and the huge opportunity to fit and grow within that gap,and provided a clear business model and a solid as well as conservative financial plan.In the conclusion part,we presented our major findings,admitted limits in the current research,and suggested some future research topics.Our research finds that it is highly possible to develop a cider factory business featuring sustainability.This study in innovative in that it highlights sustainable growth for a traditional industry,and may offer reference to other people who intend to start similar business.
