Research On The Impact Of Manufacturing Enterprises’ Cross-Border Search On Technological Innovation Performance

With the further implementation of the concept of "Internet plus",the Chinese government has further proposed the layout of "made in China 2025",which needs to complete the leap of China’s "industry 4.0".In the past,domestic manufacturing enterprises carried out incremental innovation on the existing technical route,but now they are starting to produce innovative products with higher added value and more high-tech elements.The knowledge-based economy has begun to emerge among enterprises all over the world.Some companies regard the heterogeneous knowledge searched from the outside as the basis for establishing innovative advantages for enterprises,especially under the increasingly fierce competition in today’s market environment,which has attracted the attention of many enterprises.Manufacturing enterprise technological innovation activities of internal knowledge limited severely restrict,cross-border search activities can help enterprises to discover the differentiation in uncertain environment knowledge,enrich the internal knowledge of the enterprise,to help enterprises more better quickly enough to cope with the external environment of dramatic change and the instability of the market environment.Based on this,this study,from the perspective of cross-border search,combined with the reality of technological backwardness faced byChina’s manufacturing industry,took manufacturing industry as an example to study the impact of cross-border search on the technological innovation performance of manufacturing enterprises.By dividing the dimensions of cross-boundary search,different effects of each dimension(technological knowledge cross-boundary search,market knowledge cross-boundary search)on the technological innovation performance of manufacturing enterprises are discussed,and the mediating effect of knowledge creation is tested.The research results of this paper show that the basic concepts of technological innovation performance,cross-border search and knowledge creation of manufacturing enterprises are summarized by combing relevant domestic and foreign literatures.However,the existing literatures have not empirically studied the influence of cross-border search on technological innovation performance from the perspective of knowledge creation as an intermediary.Technology knowledge crossover search has positive effect on technology innovation performance,and market knowledge crossover search has the same positive effect on technology innovation performance.Knowledge creation plays an intermediary role in the relationship between technological knowledge innovation performance,market knowledge innovation performance and technological innovation performance.
