With the advent of the information age,people have a new way to receive information-"read pictures".As a new way of presenting information,information visualization has the characteristics of fun,intuitive and interactive,and has become the main form of information industry today.Under the advocacy of the “One Belt,One Road” strategic thinking,research around the Silk Road has swept the world.Use the information visualization method to transform the complex information of the Silk Road into an intuitive image.It not only speeds up the viewer's ability to receive information,but also makes it easier to understand and understand Silk Road culture.Therefore,this topic uses the Silk Road as a background to visualize the integration of some sections of the Silk Road.It is intended to evoke the memory of this Silk Road.Think about the significance of China and the world,and to relive the history of the Silk Road.I feel the Silk Road civilization.This paper is divided into four parts to study the visual representation of the Silk Road information.The first is to explore the relevant background of the Silk Road and information visualization and domestic and foreign research.Then,the definition of the Silk Road and the classification of information visualization characteristics are further understood and analyzed,and the design ideas are summarized.Then through the field trip and questionnaire survey of the Silk Road,to understand the needs of the audience,finalize the main research content,and then sort out the relevant text information according to the content that needs to be presented,and extract the relevant modeling elements.Finally,the exploration of the two styles of graphic modeling and color modeling combined with the specific modeling elements of the Silk Road,to achieve their own design examples.
