Commercial banks play an important role in China's financial system and they are the main providers of financing services for the real economy.Its stable operation has a huge support for the stability of China's national economy.With the deterioration of the global economic,China's economic growth continues to decline,the development of economy also faces great pressure.During the process of expansion,commercial banks should not only focus on the high-quality growth of assets,but also need to ensure the stability of internal control,which undoubtedly brings huge challenges to commercial banks.Therefore,under the current economic environment,it is necessary for commercial banks to strengthen the internal control system.Based on the theory of internal control,this paper takes N Branch of A Bank as an example to conduct a detailed analysis and research on its internal control system from the perspective of five elements of internal control.This paper is divided into six chapters.The first chapter is the introduction.Along with the detailed description of the background and research significance of the paper,it also integrates and analyzes the research status from domestic and abroad,and constructs the research framework of the paper.The second chapter is a theoretical review,which lays a theoretical foundation for the paper through the elaboration of internal control concept,the concept of internal control of commercial banks,contingency theory,cybernetics and so on.The third chapter is the current status of internal control management of N Branch of A Bank.Based on the internal control of the N Branch of A Bank,the paper analyzes the weaknesses of internal control management of N Branch of A Bank.The fourth chapter describes the weaknesses and causes for weaknesses of the internal control management of N Branch of A Bank.At present,the N Branch of A Bank has weaknesses in internal control environment,risk identification and assessment,communication,regulatory evaluation and correction systems due to the influence of control environment,control measures and so on.The fifth chapter analyzes the improvement measures for the internal control of N Branch of A Bank,according to the internal control concept theory and cybernetics.It is concluded that it is necessary for N Branch of A Bank to strengthen the internal control system,optimize the internal control framework and management structure,improve the risk identification and evaluation system,strengthen the internal control information communication,and establish a early risk warning mechanism,so as to optimize the internal control management of N Branch of A Bank.The sixth chapter summarizes the paper,analyzes the shortcomings of the paper and the expectation of further research in the future.
