The Development Capacity And Spatial Distribution Of Producer Services In Lanzhou

Since the 1990 s,producer services,represented by information services,finance,insurance and other industries,have gradually replaced traditional consumer services and become an important force driving China's urban economic functions and a major aspect reflecting urban economic functions.Based on this background,this article is based on Lanzhou city statistical yearbook(2000 ~ 2016),in Gansu province development yearbook(2000 ~ 2016),China statistical yearbook(2000 ~ 2016),"the list of Lanzhou city enterprise"(as of December 2016,bureau of industry and commerce registration data),first using the method of location entropy and data statistics,analyzes the current situation of the development of producer services of Lanzhou city and its impact on regional economy,and using the spatial econometric methods such as kernel density analysis of producer services in Lanzhou city space layout and its influencing factors are discussed in this paper.Research shows that:(1)Lanzhou producer service industry is in a dominant position in the service industry of the whole province.Since the beginning of this century,its employment absorption capacity has been increasing year by year,labor productivity has been gradually improved,and the investment proportion of fixed assets in producer service industry has also been increasing year by year.However,from the perspective of development quality,there are still problems such as insufficient development demand support,unbalanced development within the industry,low labor productivity and insignificant agglomeration effect in producer services in Lanzhou.(2)The concentration level of producer services in Lanzhou is on the rise,but its advantages in domestic division of labor are not obvious.In contrast,at the provincial level,the degree of specialization is higher,showing a more obvious agglomeration trend.From the perspective of the influence of producer services on regional economy,the positive effect of producer services on economy is prominent in Lanzhou,and there are certain differences among different industries.The urbanization level and the role of the government are the closest factors affecting the development of producer services.(3)The spatial distribution of producer services in Lanzhou is uneven,and shows the spatial structure characteristics of the "circle segment".From east to west are the central high-density zone,the transition zone and the fan-shaped low-density zone successively.This spatial distribution feature is basically consistent with the geographical advantage pattern of Lanzhou city,which reflects that the spatial distribution of producer services enterprises is closely related to the development status and level of the region in the city,and they influence and promote each other.(4)The spatial distribution pattern of producer services in Lanzhou is not homogeneous,and the spatial agglomeration characteristics among industries are significantly different.In terms of different industries,enterprises in all industries present a spatial layout of more east than west,but due to different industry attributes,there are certain differences between industries.In addition,except for the multi-center agglomeration of the financial and insurance industry,other industries all present the agglomeration characteristics of single center.For enterprises of different sizes,the spatial distribution of larger enterprises is more dispersed,and their agglomeration scope is generally larger than that of smaller enterprises.In addition,the larger enterprises in the real estate industry and the financial and insurance industry have two agglomeration areas,showing the characteristics of multi-center agglomeration.Urban functional zoning,transportation convenience,land price and rent level,and office space distribution are important factors affecting location selection of producer services enterprises.
