Objectives:With the development of socialist market economy,state-owned enterprises have carried out enterprise reform in succession in order to meet the challenge of market and win market share.In the process of reform,there will inevitably be internal turmoil in enterprises,and the shortage and loss of human resources become an urgent management problem for state-owned enterprises.This paper aims to provide a theoretical basis for the study of work-life balance,organizational commitment and job involvement by reviewing the literature at home and abroad,using theoretical derivation and proof of the research hypothesis.This paper aims to apply the theoretical results to the management practice,improve the efficiency of human resources in state-owned enterprises,and give full energy to the vitality of state-owned economy.Methods:This paper used the Canadian National Work-Life Balance Study designed by Duxbury and Higgins(2001),the Organizational Commitment Scale designed by Meyer and Allen(1997)and the Job Input Scale designed by Xu Yan in 2005 to investigate 296 employees of state-owned enterprises.To explore the relationship between work-life balance,organizational commitment and job involvement,SPSS 22.0 and AMOS 17.0 were used to analyze the data,and descriptive statistical analysis was carried out to summarize the distribution of samples;confirmatory factor analysis was used to test the validity of the questionnaire;correlation analysis and regression analysis were used to study the relationship between variables relationship.By constructing a structural equation model,the organization promises to mediate between work-life balance and job involvement.Results:(1)The work-life balance,organizational commitment and job involvement of employees in three state-owned enterprises was above medium level.(2)Age had significant difference in normative commitment dimension of organizational commitment,marital status had significant difference in interest orientation dimension of job involvement.(3)Work-life balance was positively correlated with each dimension of organizational commitment,work-life balance and work engagement were positively correlated,organizational commitment was positively correlated with each dimension of work engagement,and organizational commitment played a completely mediating role between work-life balance and work engagement.Conclusions:(1)The work-life balance level of employees in three state-owned enterprises and their organizational commitment level and job involvement status were above medium level.(2)The normative commitment of state-owned employees was affected by their age,and their interest orientation was influenced by marital status.(3)Improving employee work-life balance among state-owned enterprises can help increase employee commitment and commitment to work.(4)The higher the organizational commitment level was,the higher the work engagement level was.(5)Work-life balance affects the level of work engagement of employees in state-owned enterprises through organizational commitment,that was,organizational commitment of employees in state-owned enterprises was an intermediary variable between work-life balance and organizational commitment.
