With the fierce global competition,enterprises need to improve organizational performance and self-competitiveness more and more inseparable from innovation.However,at present,the economic benefits brought by simple technological innovation to the organization have begun to fail to meet the competitive needs of enterprises.The importance of organizational innovation,which can transform the operation mode,management concept and resource allocation paradigm from the root,is unprecedented.In recent years,the field of organizational practice has broken through the original practice,and put forward the view of "significant innovation of organizational practice and organizational practice is the source and foundation of organizational innovation",which makes people understand the endogenous mechanism of organizational innovation from a new perspective.At the same time,with the external environment of modern enterprises becoming more and more dynamic,complex and hostile,it is often difficult to carry out planned actions smoothly.And in the context of the current dynamic environment,over-reliance on planning and experience is gradually getting into trouble in innovation.In order to resist the uncertainty of the environment,enterprises,different from the traditional strategy of planning first and then executing,come into people's sight.In this case,theoretical and practical perspectives generally attach importance to the role of improvisation in organizational innovation.However,at present,the research on strategic improvisation is still in the exploratory stage,and the research cannot fully explain the mechanism of organizational innovation.At the same time,there have been studies on the important conditions and related factors that strategic improvisation promotes the evolution of organizational practices,but there is no in-depth study on how strategic improvisation leads to the evolution of organizational practices.Therefore,through the above analysis and discovery,the research theme of this study arises at the historic moment.On the one hand,some studies have pointed out that strategic improvisation has a positive impact on organizational innovation,but the mechanism of action in the middle has not been thoroughly explored.Therefore,this study introduces organizational practices to explain the relationship between strategic improvisation and organizational innovation from the perspective of the evolution of practices.On the other hand,existing studies indicate that the evolution of organizational practices is the basis and source of organizational innovation.Therefore,this study will focus on how to achieve organizational innovation,focusing on how strategic improvisation leads to the evolution of organizational practices,so as to bring innovation to the organization.In addition,L real estate company was selected as the case enterprise.From the perspective of the evolution of practices,first of all,a large number of data of the enterprise were collected and interviews were conducted with staff at different levels of the enterprise.After sorting out and summarizing,the specific actions and measures taken by the enterprise are sorted out to form a descriptive innovation story,and the representative strategic improvisation,the comparison between old and new practices and the innovation content of the enterprise are extracted.Then,the implementation strategy case impromptu paper summarizes the related data,respectively,forming conditions and affecting factors of strategic impromptu after analysis of the impact of organizational routines,and will be in the form of integration strategy improvisation to organizational innovation process is divided into three stages,and organizational routines for all phases of the implementation and revealed the change characteristics and analyze the content and degree of organization innovation,exploration practice in different stages of the evolution and the characteristics of organizational innovation and regularity;Finally,the process model from strategy improvisation to organizational innovation from the perspective of tradition evolution is constructed.Through the case study and analysis,the following results are obtained in this study:first,under the current dynamic business environment,when environmental changes bring unexpected situations to the enterprise,the enterprise will usually consciously and spontaneously take immediate and innovative strategic improvisation.The study found that when an organization encounters unexpected events and has negative effects,it adopts defensive response,which is called passive defensive strategic improvisation.On the contrary,if an unexpected event is seen as an unplanned opportunity,it is expected to have a beneficial impact on the organization.Organizations can take the initiative to seize the opportunity to improvise operations,known as proactive strategic improvisation.Secondly,the factors that influence strategic improvisation are divided into two categories:the trigger factors that motivate the organization to make improvisation and the guarantee factors that ensure the organization to complete improvisation.The triggers explain when the organization will improvise,while the guarantee factors answer the conditions under which the organization will improvise.Third,the strategic improvisation adopted by an organization will cause changes in the enlightening and executive aspects of organizational practices,so as to make organizational practices evolve and bring innovation to the organization.According to the differences in the implementation and enlightenment of organizational practices,the process from strategy improvisation to organizational innovation is divided into three stages:the leading stage of existing practices,the transitional stage and the forming stage of new practices.it should be pointed out that in order to make organizational practices evolve,it must be repeated strategic improvisation,and the evolution of practices in this study is the replacement of old practices by new practices,rather than the evolution of existing practices themselves.On this basis,the mechanism model from strategy improvisation to organizational innovation is established.
