With the continuous growth of the aging population,the incidence of chronic diseases,and the continuous improvement of people’s health awareness and medical expenditure levels,the development of China’s pharmaceutical manufacturing industry is full of opportunities.However,the problems in China’s pharmaceutical industry,such as insufficient innovation capacity,unstable drug quality and efficacy,overcapacity of some generic drugs,and low industrial concentration,have become increasingly prominent.In recent years,in order to improve the development level of the pharmaceutical industry,the government departments have gradually increased the reform of the drug supply side,making the development environment of the pharmaceutical industry increasingly severe,and a large number of small and medium-sized pharmaceutical companies are facing the risk of suspending production for rectification or being eliminated.How to formulate a practical development strategy,win in the fierce market competition and achieve greater development is imminent and urgent.This article takes X Pharmaceutical Company as the research object and uses the theory and tools of strategic management to conduct in-depth research on its development strategy.The main part of this paper includes the following contents:First,in the external environment analysis part,using PEST,strategy group,five-force model,EFE matrix and other tools,analyze the external macro environment,industry,market,and competitive environment of X Pharmaceutical Company,and A comprehensive evaluation of the external environment was carried out.Secondly,in the internal environment analysis part,through the analysis of the development history,resources and capabilities,products and technologies of X Pharmaceutical Company,and using the IFE matrix,the internal environment was comprehensively evaluated.Finally,on the basis of internal and external analysis,SWOT analysis is used to determine the company’s strategic focus,and the implementation stage,path and safeguard measures of the strategy are planned.Through the analysis and research of the internal and external environment of XPharmaceutical Company,combined with the characteristics of the pharmaceutical industry and the actual situation of X Pharmaceutical Company,this paper has identified three development strategies for X Pharmaceutical Company: First,through increasing R&D investment and innovative R&D model,Expanding R&D funding sources and implementing innovation-driven strategies;Second,implementing differentiated competitive strategies through R&D differentiation,product differentiation,channel differentiation,and brand image differentiation;Third,by leveraging parent company platform advantages and industries Preferential policies,vertical and horizontal integration of the industry chain,and implementation of resource integration strategies.I hope that the research ideas and conclusions of this paper can provide reference for other similar pharmaceutical companies in China,and do our best to promote the domestic pharmaceutical industry to become bigger and stronger. |
