Research On The Impact Of Facility Connectivity On Trade Between China And "The Belt And Road" Countries

The "Belt and Road Initiative" is an open and inclusive regional cooperation initiative aimed at promoting the common development of China and the "Belt and Road" countries.It not only conforms to the development trend of the world economy,but also provides a new development platform for the "Belt and Road" countries.In 2017,the "Belt and Road" national trade accounted for 27.8%of global trade,so the prospect of China's trade cooperation with the Belt and Road countries is very broad.The meaning of facility connectivity is the interconnection of infrastructure between different regions and different countries,including transportation facilities,public facilities and social public service facilities.These infrastructure construction can effectively promote trade cooperation between China and countries along the route.However,the infrastructure of most countries along the route is in poor condition,and the priority area of the "One Belt,One Road" initiative is the facility connectivity,which can help countries along the route break through the development bottleneck and promote economic and trade.development of.Therefore,the "Belt and Road Initiative" is of great significance for regional trade cooperation and economic development.First of all,I determined the research theme of the article by referring to the domestic and foreign literature;then,based on the relevant theoretical basis,to study the mechanism of the impact of infrastructure on trade;secondly,analyze the infrastructure development of the "Belt and Road" countries,infrastructure cooperation and trade development status of China and the "Belt and Road" countries.Thirdly,according to the trade and infrastructure cooperation,the trade volume,infrastructure,transportation infrastructure,GDP,and direct investment,18 countries were selected,including Russia,Thailand,Vietnam,and the panel data model was used for empirical research.The study found that the impact of infrastructure,transportation infrastructure,GDP,and direct investment on trade is positive,and the impact of transportation costs on trade is negative;and the impact of transportation infrastructure on trade is higher than that of infrastructure;During 2013-2017 period,the impact of infrastructure and transport infrastructure on trade was higher than during the 2008-2012 period.Finally,according to the status of infrastructure construction,the status of trade development and research conclusions,the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions are proposed mainly from the aspects of infrastructure construction,trade cooperation and education.Therefore,the effectiveness of smooth trade through infrastructure interconnection is significant.China should continue to strengthen its cooperation with the Belt and Road countries in infrastructure construction,improve infrastructure conditions,and further enhance trade levels,thereby promote the common prosperity and development of the "Belt and Road" countries and regions.This is also the initial focus of the "Belt and Road"initiative.
