| The exhibition industry is a kind of industry with strong relevance.It not only has direct economic contribution to the development of regional economy,but also can produce strong linkage co-win effect which is reflected in directly pulling or indirectly driving the development of dozens of sectors,especially the obvious pulling effect on the tertiary industry.In this paper,based on the literature analysis and theoretical combing,the effect of the development of exhibition industry in Haikou on economic development is studied from linkage effect and pulling effect through statistical data.Also,the questions including categories and effectiveness of industries and sectors which are pulled by exhibition industry in Haikou are specifically answered.Firstly,the competitiveness of exhibition industry in Haikou is stated by using diamond theory,believing that exhibition industry in Haikou has certain competitive advantages.Secondly,the grey correlation analysis model among Haikou exhibition industry and three industries and major industries is established respectively,and the linkage effect analysis is adopted to verify that the exhibition industry is beneficial to the integrated-interconnected development of industry and adjustment and optimization of industrial structure,so as to promote regional economic development.The empirical analysis shows that Haikou exhibition industry and three industries have a strong correlative effect.Haikou exhibition industry relys on the development of the second industry,has a highly relevance with the tertiary sector,and plays a strongest role in the tertiary sector economic development.Thirdly,it constructs the multivariate regression model between the exhibition industry and the GDP and the third industry output value,and demonstrates the concrete pulling effect of the development of the exhibition industry on the economic development.Three forecast variables,like the large scale exhibition session,area and convention sessions,are selected to analyze the regression analysis based on the statistical data of nearly 10 years.The analysis results show that there is a positive correlation in the exhibition area above the scale,the GDP and the output value of the tertiary industry.Exhibition can boost the GDP and the tertiary output value by 1,711,331,000 RMB and 1,403,180,000 RMB respectively,when it increases each 10,000 square meters.Finally,from the perspective of how to improve the correlation effect and pulling effect of Haikou exhibition industry,combined with the development status of exhibition industry in Haikou,the development position is proposed,that is,Haikou is driven by the province’s tourism resources,mainly to show and organize conferences,and has a dislocation development with Sanya and Boao,and some countermeasures and suggestions for the development of Haikou exhibition industry are proposed. |
