Corporate social responsibility(CSR)and technological innovation are two core elements of a company's competitive strategy.Pursuing technological innovation and corporate social responsibility has become necessary for many companies.Currently,Chinese enterprises are fully innovating in order to win competitive advantages and create corporate value.At the same time,they also need to actively take on corporate social responsibilities and integrate corporate social responsibility concepts into corporate strategic management for sustainable development.The enterprise strategy essentially embodies the mode of the resource allocation.The choice of the enterprise strategy determines the strategic resource allocation and ultimately affects the way of value creation.Thus,what are the differences in the resource allocation of technological innovation between different strategic types of enterprises?What are the differences in the corporate social responsibility resource allocation between different strategic types of enterprises?How does this kind of strategic arrangement affect the technological innovation activities?Based on the perspective of strategic resource allocation,this paper constructs the effect model of "enterprise strategy type?Corporate social responsibility?technical innovation inputs",and examines the impact of corporate strategy types on technological innovation resource allocation.Using the data of A-share listed companies from 2008 to 2016 as the research samples,this study conducts an empirical test by multiple regression analysis.The results of empirical research show that:Compared with defenders,prospectors are more likely to increase the technological innovation inputs;Compared with defenders,prospectors have a higher degree of corporate social responsibility performances;Prospectors are able to improve technological innovation inputs through fulfilling corporate social responsibility.The content of this paper is arranged as follows:the first part is introduction;the second part is literature review;the third part is theoretical analysis and hypothesis;the fourth part is research design;the fifth part is empirical test and result analysis;the sixth part is robustness test;the seventh part is conclusions and policy recommendations.From a strategic perspective,this paper discusses the micro-enterprise resource allocation behaviors of technology innovation and corporate social responsibility,provides empirical evidences of resource allocation in different strategy types of enterprises,and enriches the micro-enterprise resource allocation and strategic management literature.The research conclusions provide theoretical basis and practical advice for the management to formulate effective strategic allocations between corporate social responsibility and technological innovation,and supply regulators with the theoretical basis and policy recommendations to formulate sustainable development policies,innovation policies and social responsibility information disclosure policies.
