The location selection elements of hotels are complex problems with academic nature and practicality.Hotels have the characteristics of non-transferable space,and a good hotel location not only helps to improve the market share and feasibility,but also can improve the convenience of customer accommodation.And which is affecting investors to shorten the return period of fixed capital investment.Geographers and economists are constantly studying location selection in game theory,economists focus on theoretical models and policy implications,and geographers focus on empirical analysis and planning applications.Throughout the domestic and foreign scholars mostly study the location of local hotels or the location of five-star hotels in China,while the research on the location of internationally renowned hotels is rarely involved.Marriott International Hotel Group ranks as the number one famous brand of the hotel group,and Ritz-Carlton Hotel is a representative of the international famous brand hotel.Therefore,this paper studies the influencing factors of the location choice of 90 hotels in Ritz-Carlton,which is owned by Marriott,a famous international brand hotel.The data covers 84 countries and regions.By using SPSS software,19 variables including natural resources,economic factors,population factors,traffic factors and social-cultural factors were analyzed.Pearson correlation analysis eliminates seven variables of influencing factors in this article,and then through the normal distribution test and multiple regression empirical analysis,leaving two key factors on the international well-known brand hotel location choice has an important impact.This article is innovative in the choice of research objects.By studying the location distribution characteristics of internationally renowned brand hotels,this article constructs the influencing factors model of location selection of internationally renowned brand hotels,fills in the research gap of location selection of internationally renowned brand hotels,and perfects the theoretical system of location selection of global hotels.However,due to the limited space and research time in this article can not collect more data,so there are certain deficiencies in the study of influencing factors.Therefore,in future research,we will actively consult the opinions and suggestions of experts on location selection,strive to collect more data,get more widely applicable research results,and improve the influencing factors system of location selection.
