A Study On Increasing Farmers’ Income In Guizhou Province From The Perspective Of Income Structure

Guizhou province,located in the southwest of China,is one of the poorest provinces of our country and always lags behind the average level in economic development due to its unique landforms and geographic environment,with severe poverty problems among farmers.This essay analyzes the farmers’ income level and historical & current situation of the income structure based on the perspective of income structure through literature analysis,theory with practice analysis,comparative analysis,quantitative analysis etc and combines with grey relation theory to study the effect of income structure on farmers’ income.The empirical results show that the changes of four incomes in the income structure have different effect on the farmers’ income level,influence size result is: the family business income > salary income> transfer income> property income,and at the same time,the four incomes have strong relationship between one another.According to the actual situation of Guizhou province,this essay attempts to seek for the structural elements restricting farmers’ income growth from family business income,salary income,transfer income and property income,and after in-depth analysis,among these elements,the specific and major elements are the limited agricultural cultivated land area and lacking of variability,the low level of extent agriculture management,agricultural technology conversion rate and labor productivity,uncompetitiveness of farm products,the high frequency of agricultural natural disaster,irrational structure of agriculture industry,the limited education the farmers received,the imperfection of rural labor migrant employment service system,the tardiness of urbanization,the inadequacy of fiscal payment,the imperfection of rural social security system,immaturity in mechanism of social feedback for agriculture,the imperfection of the rural property right system.To solve above restriction factors,this essay suggests promoting farmers’ income growth in Guizhou by stepping up rural infrastructure construction,speeding up the agricultural industrial structure adjustment,improving the level of farmers’ education and skills,increasing government financial support to farm,speeding up the urbanization construction,increasing government financial support agriculture improving the rural social security system and property right system,using Scale Management Pattern etc.
