Research On Green Financial Business Development Of Industrial And Commercial Bank Of China

The green development concept has become the strategic goal of the long-term development of China's society.As an important part of China's financial system,commercial banks shoulder the mission of green transformation of our economy through financial leverage and service guidance.The conducting of green financial business concerns the realization of the goal of our economy and society's sustainable development.It is necessary for commercial banks to develop green financial business,not only because of the need of supporting the restructuring and upgrading of our economy,but also the need to adapt to the changes to China's macro-economy,seize the market opportunities that the development of green finance brings,promote their own sustainable development and assume their own social responsibilities.In the beginning,this paper expounds the definition and characteristics of green finance,reviews the relevant theories of green finance,and introduces the current situation of green finance in China.Then taking ICBC as an example,it analyzes the motivation of ICBC to develop green financial business and the specific practice of green financial business and summarizes the successful experience of ICBC in conducting green financial business.Some of the successful experience of ICBC,the largest commercial bank in China,in conducting green financial business provides useful reference for other commercial banks in China to carry out green financial business successfully.In the end,based on the actual situation reflected by specific cases,it summarizes the problems existing in the development of green financial business of ICBC,and puts forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions.
