The Study On The Bank-Security Company Cooperation Mode From CMBC

This paper,on one hand,mainly studies the different brokerage business cooperation modes between commercial banks and security companies,taking Minsheng bank as the main research object,in order to find a more suitable and more reasonable bank-securities cooperation mode,which is beneficial to the management layer to better grasp the strategic management policy of Minsheng bank.On the other,doing research on bank-securities cooperation mode of Minsheng Bank helps to motivate the innovation of a mode which is more compliant with government regulations and specifications,guarding the financial security and profitability of assets managed.Oceans of literatures on the research of the bank-securities cooperation are discussed in this paper.A brief review of the research on this particular field in China and abroad is given first,reaching the research objectives of this paper.In the whole process,first-hand data and research methods like comparison,induction and analysis are used on the purpose of making proposals towards the problems existing.Based on the investigation of Asset Management Department and Financial Market Department in the bank with regard to bank-securities cooperation related projects through disclosed information or the internal and external data,this paper analyzes main products like commission sales,asset back securities,and bank-securities settlement etc.,finding that Minsheng Bank is facing increased systematic risk on one side,and the lack of liquidity and coping mechanisms for risk prevention on the other.Without solving all the problems mentioned above,the bank's progress may be impeded.To ensure the bank-securities cooperation being carried out smoothly,some professionals in Financial Market Department and Asset Management Department are interviewed,and topics related to new regulations as while as present condition of bank-securities cooperation are discussed in profound,coming up with suggestions accordingly.The proposed countermeasures and suggestions are mainly lying in utilization and sharing of information resources,actively establishing systemic risk prevention mechanism,enhancing the personnel structure of Minsheng bank,pushing multi-subject of asset securitization and promoting the size of financial assets managed by the bank.In sum,this paper,referring to oceans of literatures and reports,focuses on bank-securities cooperation of Minsheng Bank,and deeply investigates in the modes and products,hoping that the research process and proposed suggestions might play their guiding function to the banking industry in the future.
