As a big agricultural country,China has abundant agricultural resources,many varieties and adequate supply of agricultural product.On the other hand,China is a big country with high population,causing a great demand for agricultural products.In China,it is important to balance supply and demand of agricultural products.However,China's agricultural products have many problems,such as uneven distribution,different standards,unscientific production and pricing,higher cost of logistic,and so on.How to solve these problems is the key to the success of China's agricultural products enterprises.The emergence and rise of e-commerce provides a solution to the above-mentioned problems.By combining with e-commerce,the market scope of agricultural products enterprises expands,solving the problem of regional restrictions on agricultural products.Through group buying model,agricultural products enterprises solve the unsalable problem of agricultural products and defuse the risk of investment.Through the electronic monitoring of logistics,the decay rate of agricultural products decreased.Combining with e-commerce,the agricultural product enterprise can predict market change,direct production and sales.Combined with e-commerce,after-sales problem of agricultural products enterprises easier to achieve,consumer spending experience can be enhanced.In short,e-commerce can help agricultural products enterprises reduce cost and boost efficiency.Therefore,the emergence of e-commerce of agricultural products is an inevitable result.In recent years,with the strong support of the national policy and the large amount of investment,the e-commerce of agricultural products has developed rapidly in China.But,current status of e-commerce enterprises of agricultural products is not satisfactory.Among them,less than 5% of corporate profits,and 35% of enterprises suffer serious loss.Therefore,analyzing and optimizing the business model of e-commerce of agricultural products are very important.K Company is an e-commerce enterprise of agricultural products,which was founded in 2012.At first,the company believed that people's demand for health and high-quality agricultural products would be improved with the improvement of living standards,especially fresh agricultural products,and its market prospect is very broad.So,K Company seized the opportunity and achieved good results.However,K Company also has many problems,such as insufficient customer segmentation,channel access to be perfect optimization,irrational product structure,and so on.K's business model is worthy of study and optimization.From this reason,this research taking the source,current situation and trend of agricultural products e-commerce in China as the background,taking Value Chain Theory,transaction cost theory and other economic and management theories as theoretical basis,adapting the methods of documentary analysis,comparative research,investigate method and other methods,combining the enlightenment of the research on the business model of e-commerce of agricultural products at home and abroad,studies the business model of K.This paper uses “Nine Elements” to analyze and explain the K's business model,in order to have a comprehensive awareness of K.Then,based on this,the paper exposed and summarized the existing problems of K as the basis for the optimization of K's business model.Finally,in view of those problems,the paper proposes the optimization suggestions of “making the customer orientation precise,optimizing customer relationships”,“optimizing product structure,adjusting the product price”,“improving the channel access,strengthen management innovation”.The research puts forward suggestions for the optimization and improvement of the K's business model.It can be used as reference for other e-commerce enterprises of agricultural products.Also,it contributes to academic research of the business model of e-commerce of agricultural products.
