In October 2013,during the visiting to the ASEAN countries,General Secretary Xi Jinping proposed a strategic concept for building a "21st Century Maritime Silk Road" in Indonesia. The "Silk Road Economic Belt" strategy and "21st Century Maritime Silk Road" strategy together constitute the " the Belt and Road" strategy. In March 2015,the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Ministry of Commerce jointly issued the “Vision and Action for Promoting the Joint Construction of the Silk Road Economic Belt and the 21 st Century Maritime Silk Road,” which marked the official entry into the historic “the Belt and Road” strategy implementation phase. The formulation and implementation of the " the Belt and Road " strategy are in line with the world situation and China's development trend.China under the "new normal" is entering a new era of "going out" on a large scale.Under the new circumstances,China's development needs a broader market and new growth drivers. It also needs to take the initiative to create economic development opportunities for itself and other emerging economies. Therefore, the “the Belt and Road” strategy is proposed at the right moment. The " the Belt and Road " strategy take the "five links" as the main content, that is,policy communication, facilities connectivity, trade flow, financial financing, and people-to-people links.Among them, trade flow as a major area of cooperation is one of the main criteria for measuring the effectiveness of cooperation. To promote the development of trade between China and the countries along the route,we must not only focus on the advancement of trade liberalization and facilitation, but also carry out all-round international investment in order to drive further growth in trade.Therefore,investment-driven trade development has become a new direction of the "One Belt and One Road" strategy. Therefore, this article analyzes the trade effects of foreign direct investment in “the Belt and Road” countries, explores an investment-driven trade, provides a reference for China's strategy of how to better implement the “going out” strategy, and also realizes “the Belt and Road” for China. The formulation of relevant policies in the conception process provides constructive opinions and has important theoretical and practical significance. In the course of research, this article systematically studied the direct investment and trade of countries and regions along the “Belt and Road” in China through document reading and data compilation. The specific research contents are impact on trade.Chapter four, analysis of the status quo. This chapter mainly introduces China's current status of direct investment and trade in countries along the “One Belt and One Road”.From the aspect of total scale and proportion, regional distribution, industry distribution, and other aspects,it summarizes and concludes the investment and trade exchanges between China and the countries along the route were examined in terms of total import and export volume, import volume, and export volume. The results indicate that China's direct investment in countries along the route has a significant creative effect. At the same time, this chapter also introduces the quantitative analysis of the cross-cuts between different influencing factors and China's foreign direct investment, studies the factors that affect foreign direct investment and the direct effect of the foreign direct investment on trade. It is found that under the influence of different factors, foreign direct investment is the performance of the impact is also different.Chapter six, conclusions and recommendations. This chapter summarizes the full text, and on this basis, proposes the following countermeasures and
