Development Of Rice Industry In Guangdong Province

Rice is the basic food for more than half of the world's population,and is also the basic food for most people in our country.China is the world's largest rice producer and consumer country,and has become the largest rice importer in the last two years.It is of great significance to our country to study the development of rice industry.As the most important grain crop in Guangdong Province,rice accounts for more than 80% of the total grain output per year.The development of the rice industry involves not only the economic benefits of the about 40000000 farmers in Guangdong,but also the food security in the whole province of Guangdong.In recent years,Guangdong rice planting area continued to decrease,production cannot be self-sufficient in the background,this paper studies the current situation of the development of rice industry,and discusses the problems and challenges of industrial development in Guangdong Province,the sustained increase of farmers,plays an important role in the development of agricultural economy and food security.This study through industrial development related theory,combined with the Guangdong province rice industry development status and the foundation,discuss the major challenges and constraints that exist in the development of rice industry in Guangdong Province,and puts forward countermeasures and strategic choice,provide ideas for development of rice industry in china.The results showed that: Guangdong Province as a big province of grain has the technical conditions,accelerate the development of rice industry in natural conditions and traditional agricultural products market conditions,but also facing the agricultural infrastructure obsolete,mechanization development is not balanced,rice quality,rice production and weak competitiveness of enterprises,professional cooperation organization and slow development the rice processing products of low added value.By drawing on the development of rice industry in other areas of experience,put forward to improve rice production environment,promote the rice production and processing technology innovation scale rice,cultivation of talents,improve the industrial circulation system,and expand the brand market and perfect service system.
