Research On Agricultural Insurance Supporting Agricultural Modernization Development

Since the reform and opening up,China's agricultural development has made remarkable achievements.At present,our country's agriculture has already stood at a new historical starting point.Accelerating the development of modern agriculture and making every effort to improve the agricultural competitiveness is the need of coping with the profound changes in the environment at home and abroad.China has a vast territory and rich agricultural products.There are great differences in the forms of agriculture among different regions and various risks.All these are the challenges that China must face in agricultural modernization.Agricultural insurance is a green box policy allowed by the WTO.Since the full implementation of agricultural insurance in our country,especially after the promulgation of the "Agricultural Insurance Regulations" in 2013,the agricultural insurance industry has achieved vigorous development.It also help people to resist disaster and resume production after many major natural disasters.Now,the agricultural insurance in our country has basically formed a diversified mode of operation guided by the central government and various places.Agricultural insurance has extremely distinctive geographical features.Suzhou has always been the most prosperous and fertile land for agricultural development in our country.It is also the core city in the Yangtze River Delta that has enjoyed the most economic development in our country since the reform and opening up.In recent years,it has taken the forefront in the process of agricultural modernization.Suzhou is also one of the earliest cities for agricultural insurance in Jiangsu Province.In promoting agricultural modernization in recent years,Suzhou has played an active role in agricultural insurance and has achieved good results.By studying the experience of serving agricultural modernization in mature countries,the author alaysis the concrete practice of Suzhou about agricultural insurance and promotion of agriculture modernization.In the course of carrying out the agricultural modernization in our country,the author provides some advice on using agricultural insurance to prevent and cure all kinds of risks Feasible advice.
