The Study On The Precision Poverty Alleviation Of Insurance Industry

The issue of poverty is a difficult task that our country faces in building an overall well-off society.To this end,the State Council promulgated the "National eight-seven Poverty Alleviation Program(1994-2000)" and the "Outline for Poverty Alleviation and Development in Rural China(2011-2020)" in 1994 and 2011 respectively.In November 2013,General Secretary Jinping Xi put forward the important idea of "precise poverty alleviation" for the first time during his inspection tour in Xiang xi of Hunan province.In November 2015,the State Council of the CPC Central Committee issued the "Decision on Winning a Hard Fight for Poverty Alleviation".In May 2016,China Insurance Regulatory Commission and the Poverty Alleviation Office of the State Council printed and distributed the Opinions on Doing Well in the Insurance Industry to Boost Poverty and Strike Hard off the Poverty.As an important force of precision poverty alleviation,the insurance industry constantly explores,tries and innovates.At the same time,it also has accumulated valuable experience for the function of insurance in participating in social governance.The purpose of this paper is to sort out the practice and experience of the current insurance industry in the precise poverty alleviation work,to find problems and make suggestions,to make the insurance mechanism truly play its due role in poverty alleviation work within a short period of time and boost the smooth realization of the goal of poverty alleviation.This paper is divided into six parts.The first part in the introduction part briefly describes the background,research significance and research scholars at home and abroad.The second part describes the background of the insurance industry's participation in precision poverty alleviation.At the same time,this part analyzes the mechanism and ways of the insurance industry in the process of helping the poor.The third part summarizes the practical experience and cases of the insurance industry participating in the poverty alleviation.The fourth part studies the problems or difficulties in the anti-poverty work of the insurance industry.The fifth part puts forward some suggestions from the perspectives of the government and commercial insurance institutions respectively.The sixth part is the conclusion of this paper.
