The Analysis Of Resource Allocation And Benefit Distribution For Sustainable Development Of Mae Kampong Community-based Eco-Cultural Tourism In Chiang Mai,Thailand

In order for a small type community based eco-cultural tourism to have a sustainable development,not only we have to protect natural resources and control number of tourists visited community but more importantly,we have to solve the problem between benefit distribution and resource allocation.A community based eco-cultural tourism at Mae Kampong in Chiangmai,Thailand is where Ministry of Tourism of Thailand highly suggested as a case study.However,there are still many problems of resources allocation and benefit distribution existed for a developing community based eco-cultural tourism,which have a negative impact on the sustainable development of this community based ecocultural tourism.To solve the problem of the relationship between resources allocation and benefit distribution benefit in the community based eco-cultural tourism,a fair and reasonable of benefit distribution mechanism is needed to redistribute the income of community tourism to all community residents.It is also necessary to realize distribution according to the differences and take the vulnerable groups of community residents into consideration in order to achieve the fair and reasonable benefit of distribution.In order to have a benefit distribution mechanism it is important to rely on all community residents to participate in all aspects of the community's eco-cultural tourism.So that each resident can claim from his own benefits;make out a benefit distribution mechanism that meets benefit of each stakeholder;and achieve the sustainability of social development and economic development in the community based eco-cultural tourism.The most basic conditions for a sustainable development of a community based eco-cultural tourism are the sustainability of natural ecological development and cultural tourism development;preserving abundant natural ecology,inherit unique local knowledge and traditional culture;creating a rural ecocultural tourism products and services that can satisfy both community residents and tourists.Therefore,to achieve the sustainable development of community based eco-cultural tourism of this community;all residents should cultivate the concept of sustainabledevelopment by putting importance on protection of community's ecological and cultural resources.Moreover,discussing and formulating a fair and reasonable of benefit distribution is a mechanism that drives the development of the community based ecocultural tourism.These are ways that the small type community based eco-cultural tourism can be sustainably developed.
