Study On The Feasibility And Effect Of Free Trade Zone In Yunnan Province

Under the background of the Belt and Road Initiative and a new pattern of all-around opening to the outside world,we should accelerate the implementation of the strategy of free trade zones and deepen the construction of free trade zones on the basis of the border area.At present,China has 11 free trade zones(FTZ)that are distributed in inland and coastal areas.The border free trade zone is different from the inland and coastal free trade zones.It needs to create new experience.Therefore,it is necessary to study the construction of Yunnan free trade zone.Yunnan whose strategic position is prominent is the forefront of the opening to the world along the border in the southwest China.It is adjacent to Vietnam,Myanmar and Laos.Yunnan is located in the China-Indochina Peninsula of international economic cooperation and the Bangladesh,China,India and Myanmar Economic Corridor.It is the key to promote the Belt and Road Initiative.Yunnan has geographical advantages,the key to develop the economy lies in opening to the outside world.The construction of Yunnan free trade zone is of great significance to promote the Belt and Road Initiative and conduct good cooperation with South Asia and Southeast Asia.This paper analyzes the politics,economy,society and technology environment,the advantages as well as the disadvantages of the construction of Yunnan free trade zone by PEST and SWOT analytical method.It uses SWOT matrix method to study the problems that should be taken into consideration in the process of constructing Yunnan free trade zone and to point out the future development direction.At the same time,by using the grey system correlation analysis,this paper quantitatively analyzes the influence between various typical functions in Yunnan and the export-oriented economy of Yunnan,and makes a reasonable choice of the functional construction mode of Yunnan free trade zone and analyzes its economic effect in detail.According to the results,the initial construction of Yunnan free trade zone needs to develop transportation,export processing and foreign trade.With the continuous development of construction,it will develop towards the direction of the comprehensive free trade zone eventually.Finally,by drawing lessons from the development practice and experience of free trade zone at home and abroad,this paper puts forward some suggestions on the construction Yunnan free trade zone.
