Research On The Development Of Professional Towns In Shunde District Of Foshan City

Today,the 40 th anniversary of the reform and opening up,the development of professional towns in Shunde District of Foshan City has reached a certain height after decades of development.However,the rapid changes in the economicenvironment have brought specialty towns into even more daunting challenges.In order to win these challenges,professional towns in Shunde District of Foshan City must be upgraded.The rapid development of professional towns is particularly important for the economic development of Shunde.This paper studies the current situation of professional towns in Shunde and finds out the problems encountered in the development of professional towns.The theoretical basis is based on Weber regional theory,Krugman theory and other professional town-related theories.The use of document review methods,data analysis methods,and case analysis methods to analyze the current development situation of professional towns in Shunde and identify five problems in the development of professional towns in Shunde: the government has not fully played its role;the development gap between professional towns has been compared Large;industrial chain is incomplete;lack of innovation mechanism;brand product creation awareness is weak.Through analyzing the development of clusters in Dutch and Japanese enterprises and the successful development of Zhejiang professional towns and Qi Shi towns in Dongguan,combined with the advantages of professional town development in Shunde,it proposes to promote the development and upgrading of professional towns in Shunde: to give full play to the supporting role of government supporting policies;Slope relatively backward areas;strengthen the construction of industrial chains and improve the industrial chain;intensify innovation;apply for trademark certification,and build and protect brands.This article focuses on the study of the development and upgrading of professional towns in Shunde,Foshan City,and proposes suggestions for the development of professional towns in Shunde.It hopes to help the upgrading anddevelopment of professional towns in Shunde and provides reference for the development and upgrading of professional towns in other cities.
