The ecological red line is a concept proposed by China in recent years.It aims to establish a more strict ecological protection system based on the existing system.With the continuous development of urbanization and industrialization in China,the ecological environment has become increasingly prominent.Although the government's investment in the protection of the ecological environment has increased year by year,overall,the gains obtained have not been able to reverse the deteriorating ecological environment.Therefore,it is imperative to implement the zoning,assessment,and monitoring of the ecological red line.There are various types of areas delineated by ecological red lines,and the content and functions of different areas are different.Therefore,the zoning,monitoring and evaluation of the ecological red line will take time and effort.Semantic Web technology defines and links data on the network through a description language,expresses rich semantic information in a form that the machine can process,and can describe the relevant nature of the data.At present,the research of the Semantic Web is increasingly hot.The use of Semantic Web technology to describe the ecological redline ontology can more conveniently describe the hierarchical relationships among the knowledge in the field,and can be published as a web service to be reused.At present,most of the ecological redline work is still carried out through complex,inefficient,and artificial methods.This article relies on the increasingly hot Semantic web,ontology,and knowledge base technologies,and through consulting experts,literature inquiries,and online survey questionnaires to access to ecological red line knowledge,and build an ecological red line knowledge base,which includes the ecological red line ontology library,inference rule base and so on.Based on this ecological red line knowledge base,ecological red line knowledge semantics can be used to automatically calculate and infer rules in the ecological field.The complexity of the ecological red line's regionalization,assessment,and monitoring work can be transformed into the ease of network services,and experts can be promoted to carry out ecological red line affairs.Moreover,on this basis,this article also designed and developed related web service tools to facilitate the government departments and experts to carry out regional ecological red line zoning,monitoring and evaluation.In the last chapter of this article,we will demonstrate how to use this service tool to carry out the zoning,monitoring,and assessment of ecological redlines through the example of the Shen Nongjia Forest in Hubei Province.
