Research On The Development Of The Producer Service Industry In The Process Of Transformation And Upgrading Of The US Manufacturing Industry

China is in the process of industrial transformation and upgrading.At this stage,the advantage of manufacturing endowments is gradually declining.The demand for high-end technology development is rapidly increasing and the improvement of the core competitiveness of the manufacturing industry is imminent.The optimization of the industrial structure of producer services has an important role in promoting the transformation and upgrading of manufacturing industries and the sustained and healthy development of the economy.The development of interactive integration of producer services and manufacturing industries can promote the transformation and upgrading of manufacturing industries,while the development of their own industries has a huge driving role in other industries of the economy.On the contrary,when the capital of producer services that is put into the production field begin to fall,the separation of manufacturing and producer services will reduce the competitiveness of the manufacturing industry and hinder the transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing industry.The United States was in the transition period of manufacturing from 1997 to 2007.From 1997 to 2001,the productive service industry in the United States achieved great development.In particular,industries such as communications technology and R&D received strong support from the government,and the regulation of the financial industry gradually decreased.During the period,the manufacturing and service industries in the United States achieved great development.The capital for production services in the production sector continued to rise,the degree of integration between the two industries further increased,and the economy achieved rapid development during the overall Clinton administration.Since 2001,the U.S.has further reduced the supervision of the financial industry,resulting in a large amount of capital influx into the mortgage market.At the same time,government fiscal expenditure has largely flowed into the fields of medical security and military development,and the productive services industry has gradually lowered its capital in production field.The integration of the service industry and the manufacturing industry has been reduced.The separation of the two industries has caused the gradual loss of the competitiveness of the US manufacturing industry and an increase in the unemployment rate,which has affected the sustained and stable economic development.The dissertation uses this as a breakthrough point to study the development of the producer service industry in the transition period of manufacturing of the United States,explore the influencing factors and development issues in the process of the industrial structure optimization of the US producer service industry,and provide reference for optimizing the industrial structure of China’s producer service industry.The first chapter of the thesis introduces the research background and significance of the thesis,literature review of relevant research,research methods and content,as well as research insufficiency and innovation.The dissertation then divides the research on industrial structure optimization of producer services into two aspects: the interactive integration of producer services and manufacturing in the transitional manufacturing industry and how to promote the development of producer services industry to promote the transformation and upgrading of manufacturing.In the second chapter,the thesis analyzes the interaction mechanism between the producer service industry and manufacturing transformation and upgrading.Subsequently,the third chapter introduces the actual development of producer services and manufacturing in the United States from 1997 to 2014,and summarizes the development of producer services in the process of US manufacturing transformation.The fourth chapter of this thesis conducts an empirical test on the interaction between manufacturing and producer services.The fifth chapter further studies the main influence factors of the development of producer services in the United States,mainly from three aspects of the financial system,manufacturing development and government policy to explore its impact on the development of producer services.Finally,we draw conclusions and suggest research implications.The dissertation uses the deviation share method,the input-output table and the DEA model to describe the development of the producer service industry,the integration of the producer service industry and the manufacturing industry,and the competitiveness of the manufacturing industry.Based on this,a vector autoregressive model was established.Through the Granger causality test,impulse response function,and variance decomposition analysis,the long-term dynamic impact relationship between the development of the producer services industry and the transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing industry was verified.The empirical findings indicate that the irrational development of the industrial structure of the producer service industry has led to the separation of the producer services industry and the manufacturing industry,which has led to a decline in the competitiveness of the manufacturing industry and hindered the transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing industry.At the same time,the delay in the upgrading of manufacturing industries has had a negative impact on the development of the industrial structure of producer services.A multivariate linear regression model was established to substitute commercial bank output and mortgage market output for the scale and efficiency of the supply of financial services to the producer services industry,and the total output of the manufacturing industry to replace the demand scale of the manufacturing industry for the producer service industry.The direct consumption coefficient of the manufacturing industry to the producer service industry replaces the demand structure of the manufacturing industry for the producer service industry,and government direct investment replaces the government’s influence on the producer service industry.Through empirical analysis,the impact of the financial market,the development of the manufacturing industry,the degree of government intervention on the economy,and the overall development of the economy on the development of the producer services industry was verified.Empirical evidence proves that the supply scale and efficiency of the financial market play a positive role in promoting the development of the producer services industry.Due to the decline in the competitiveness of the manufacturing industry,the demand for the manufacturing services industry is reduced by the manufacturing industry and the development of the producer services industry is inhibited.The government’s role in the development of producer services is positive.Finally,combined with theoretical research and empirical results,it is pointed out that the direction of capital supply in the financial system is sub-optimal,which reduces the promotion of the rationalized development of producer services,and the unreasonable development of producer services leads to the interaction between producer services and manufacturing.Separation has played a reverse role in the transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing industry.The delay in manufacturing upgrades has adversely inhibited the development of the producer services industry.At the same time,the increase in the scale of financial supply and supply efficiency,as well as the government’s industrial support for the producer services industry,have promoted the development of producer services.
