The report of the 19th CPC National Congress pointed out that the issue of agriculture,rural areas and farmers is a fundamental issue that affects the national economy and the people's livelihood.It builds and improves modern agricultural industrial systems,production systems,and management systems,and promotes the organic convergence of "smallholder farmers" and"big markets".It is an important measure to achieve rural revitalization.In recent years,the contradiction between "small farmers" and the "big market" has been prominent,and the circulation costs of agricultural products remain high,making people gradually realize that it is not enough to pay attention only to the development of agricultural production organizations.It is also necessary to optimize the distribution channels of agricultural products and increase their circulation efficiency.It is of great significance to study the factors that affect the selection of farmer households' agricultural product distribution channels,and improve the construction of agricultural products circulation system,which will increase the farmers' income,strengthen the competitiveness of agricultural products in the international market,and build agricultural modernization and agricultural economy.Based on the survey data of 200 duck farmers in Gaoyou City,Jiangsu Province,this thesis makes an empirical analysis of the factors affecting the choice of duck farm product circulation channels.First,the concept of duck farmers,circulation of agricultural products,and distribution channels of agricultural products was defined,and then a theoretical analysis framework was established based on transaction cost theory and existing research.After a descriptive analysis of the survey data,it was found that the duck circulation channels selected by the duck farmers in Gaoyou City were mainly in the form of "peasant households + duck brokers",among which the smaller duck farmers mostly chose "farmers + consumers".The channels are in circulation;the main forms of duck eggs distribution channels are "company + farmer" and "company + duck broker".Based on the theoretical framework,this thesis uses the Multinomial Logit model to empirically study the factors affecting the selection of duck farm product circulation channels.The regression results show that:information costs have a significant impact on the choice of duck farmers' circulation channels due to the lack of timely and reliable market information.The duck farmers face information asymmetry,incomplete and other problems.The negotiating cost has strong constraints on the choice of duck farmers' circulation channels.The scattered duck farmers are in a weak position in circulation,their "speech right" is weak,negotiation ability is poor,and they are faced with the dilemma of transaction costs and producer surplus.The results of the regression of implementation costs show that the duck farmer's commitment to transport will lead to higher transaction costs.The characteristics of farmer households have certain influence on the choice of duck farmers' circulation channels.The market environment has a significant effect on the choice of duck farmers' circulation channels.Market price fluctuations and distances may affect the welfare of duck farmers.Finally,on the basis of the research conclusions of this thesis,the following countermeasures are proposed:First,improve the information platform for agricultural products,and strengthen information exchange between supply and demand sides.This in turn reduces information costs due to asymmetric information and incomplete information.The second is to accelerate the development of farmers' professional cooperatives and increase the risk resistance ability of farmers.By uniting the duck farmers,it will increase its position in the circulation of agricultural products and strengthen its "speech right" so as to reduce the transaction costs of farmers.The third is to strengthen professional training of farmers and increase their awareness of cost and market awareness.Guide farmers to learn the knowledge and latest technology of circulation of agricultural products,strengthen their understanding of transaction costs,and increase their reputation and brand awareness.The fourth is to improve the circulation system of agricultural products and strengthen the construction of infrastructure for the circulation of agricultural products.
