Nowadays, with the continuous development of China's economy, the development of banking industry is also very rapid. Its structure is from monopoly to oligopoly, and the whole is becoming more and more reasonable. At the same time,China's economic development is also accompanied by the growth of the world economy, which has aroused great concern.Since 1970,the regulation mode of financial sector in financial sector has not been perfected, and the market structure in the financial field has undergone unprecedented changes. The banking industry is also playing an important role in the financial industry. Therefore,it is particularly important to study the relationship between banking structure and economic growth.Based on the latest samples of commercial banks in 29 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions in China, this paper studies the problem of banking and economic growth in China by using the quantitative economic model, based on the deposit, loan concentration,HHI coefficient and the domestic key bank Gini coefficient as the basis for the evolution of the banking structure. The description analysis and the panel data model are used to study the possible relationship between the banking structure and economic growth in China, and the characteristic facts are extracted and the development direction for the development of the banking industry is pointed out.Through analysis,it is found that since 2000,China's banking market concentration has been decreasing year by year, and the banking industry is developing towards competition. In view of these changes, this paper attempts to explain the impact of these changes on economic growth. The results are as follows:(1)both the banking concentration and economic growth can not increase at the same time. The reduction of the concentration of banking industry promotes economic growth, and the optimization of the financial structure will help the economic development;(2)just as the regression coefficient of the study is expected, the growth trend of banking structure and economic structure can not be consistent. In other words, larger provinces can increase the concentration of banks, and the decline in the concentration of banking will promote economic growth in the highly developed private sector of the economy. In order to optimize the banking industry and enhance its role in promoting the economic development of our country, the first thing we have to do is to make further adjustments to the current bank access policy, vigorously promote the cooperation plan of foreign banks, study advanced foreign management system, and further develop the management system of private banks. To improve the foreign learning ability, consolidate the existing industry status, and gradually adjust the financial system dominated by large state-owned banks and the financial system dominated by small and medium banks. The competitiveness of banking industry should focus on the conclusion of optimizing the structure. This will not only promote the development of banks themselves, but also strengthen the development of banks in the future. At the same time, this paper also provides a theoretical basis and empirical support for further deepening China's banking reform. Therefore,in the process of the reform of China's economic and financial system, the government should further deepen the reform and adjustment of the existing financial system, relax the control of private banks, and encourage and support the development policies of small and medium banks in the region.Within the scope of control,we should further relax restrictions on private capital entering the banking industry, and enable powerful private enterprises to build private banks in a small scale.Only by reducing the market concentration and improving the orderly competition ability of the banking industry, banks can play a greater role in enterprise financing and betterserve the development of the national economy.
