Organizational politics is an important research direction in the study of organizational behavior.Therefore,many scholars study the two commonly indicators in organizational behavior research:perceptions of organizational politics(POP)and organizational identification(OI),which influencing the job satisfaction(JS)of employees in organization,in order to study the performance of organization.The organizational politics is the political process that revolves around the competition for resources and the distribution of benefits in the organization.POP is the perceptions of individuals in the organization on organizational political behavior.OI is a psychological identification of individuals who regard self-level and organization-level as an entity,identify their values and produce a sense of belonging to the organization.JS is the psychological and physiological satisfaction of individuals in the organization with the environmental factors in the organization,that is,the subjective reaction of workers to the working situations of organizations.Research institutes are regarded as special organization.The employees in research institutes are one kind of special knowledge workers.They have many characteristics different from ordinary employees:highly educated,mastered new knowledge,quick thinking and the courage to open up the development,etc.The organizational behavior of these employees should be different from others.In this paper,the knowledge workers in research institutes were taken as the research objects to study the relationship among POP,OI and JS.The conclusions were as follows:(1)The demographic variables of knowledge workers from research institutes had no significant effects on POP,except for gender.(2)There was a significant negative correlation between POP and JS in knowledge workers from research institutes.(3)There was a significant positive correlation between OI and JS in knowledge workers from research institutes.(4)There was a significant negative correlation between POP and OI in knowledge workers from research institutes.(5)The OI played a partial mediation effects on the relationship between POP and JS in knowledge workers from research institutes.
