Research On Seed Quality Management Improvement Of CSI Seed Co.,LTD

China is one of the largest agricultural countries in the world,and the seed is the most important foundation of the operation,which is the irreplaceable,and significant product material and the internal factor for yield improvement in farming.In the current development of the seed industry and increasingly fierce competition,if one seed company wants to rise in the industry and defeat opponents,it must continue to improve the quality of seeds in order to make long-term sustainable development.In addition,the quality of survival,seeking efficiency,and asking development,as well as following the rules of the market economy,are the magic weapon for the long-term survival and development of seed industry.The quality awareness has to be put into the process of variety research and development,seed production and processing,storage,transportation.And the seed enterprises can have "Evergreen" basis through constantly improving the quality management of the whole process.In this paper,we use the quality management theory,combining with China Seeds International(CSI)Company's reality situation in the current stage,to do deep analysis of the quality management status and exist problems of this company.It is pointed out that the main reason of the quality problem of low seed germination rate lies in the problems in quality management.This study finds out that there are three problems of the seed quality management of CSI as follows.First,there are defects in process management system.Second,all staff's awareness of quality are inaccurate.Third,the level of staff skills is insufficient.On the basis of this,the paper puts forward the improvement strategies of seed quality management,namely:(1)to clarify the seed quality management target of CSI;(2)to perfect the seed production process and seed quality management system;(3)to improve ideological understanding of all staff;(4)to strengthen the training of staff skills;(5)to be reasonable to deal with the environment and climate change;(6)to increase the investment of special funds of seed quality management.Through the implementation of these strategies of seed quality management,the quality management of CSI has also achieved remarkable results.First,the seed quality has been significantly improved.Second,the seed quality management rules and regulations have been basically completed.In addition,the seed testing and quality improvement project have been effectively implemented.Finally,the quality awareness of all the staff in the company are generally improved.The research results of this paper not only improve the seed quality management level of CSI,and further achieve the ultimate goal of seed quality,but also have far-reaching significance to normalize and speed up the seed industry in China.
