A Study On The Tourism Cooperation Situation,Driven Mechanism And Countermeasures Of Yangtze River Economic Region

With abundant,diverse and high-level tourism resources,several national key tourism cities and formal inter-government tourism cooperation organizations within the region,the tourism industry for Yangtze River economic zone develops well.But there aren't professional management institution for tourism cooperation coordination in Yangtze River Economic Zone,and lack of effective mechanism for communication,operation,benefits sharing and allocation,the tourism cooperation development are faced with many obstacles.Therefore,we should establish professional management institution to manage the overall sustainable tourism cooperation development,build and improve the mechanism for regional cooperation integration,strengthen the tourism interaction among up,middle and down stream reaches in Yangtze River Zone,so as to promote the integrative tourism development for Yangtze River economic zone.Based on the existing researches,this study sorted out the characteristics and related theories of tourism cooperation for river basin economic zone,clarified the current status and driven mechanism of tourism cooperation,summarized the obstacles hindering the tourism cooperation for Yangtze River Economic Zone,and proposed countermeasures to provide theoretical guide for Yangtze River Tourism Integration.This study mainly consists of several parts as below:First,on the basis of defining related concepts,combined with related theories for tourism cooperation in river basin economic zone,this study analyzed the characteristics of tourism cooperation for river basin economic zone.For river basin economic zone,the tourism cooperation is linked by the river basin with high ecological sensitivity,the gradient difference exists in the economy foundation and the market integration is restricted by administrative barriers.On this basis,this study put forward targeted development requirements to provide theoretical guide for researches on tourism cooperation for Yangtze River Economic Zone.Second,based on the analysis of society economy and tourism development,this study analyzed the tourism cooperation conditions for Yangtze River Economic Zone,and clarified the development phase of tourism cooperation from the time dimension according to cooperation main stakeholders,spatial scope,cooperation methods and cooperation content,namely 1980s as initial phase with small-scale simple cooperation,1990s as developing phase with middle-scale comprehensive cooperation,and elevating phase from 21st century with large-scale diverse cooperation.Third,based on the space dimension and guided by the Spatial Interaction Theory,this study calculated tourism cooperation strength for Yangtze River Economic Zone with Spatial Interaction Mode,and took the up,middle and down stream reaches and whole Yangtze River economic zone as analysis unit,summarized the spatial pattern of tourism cooperation for Yangtze River Economic Zone from several aspects such as cooperation method,cooperation content and cooperation effects.From the research,we found Yangtze River economic zone has developed into three core circle-layers.In the tourism cooperation circle of up stream reaches,Chongqing and Chengdu are dual cores,Guiyang and Kunming are secondary cores;In the tourism cooperation circle of middle stream reaches,Wuhan and Changsha are cores;In the tourism cooperation circle of down stream reaches,Nanjing,Hangzhou and Shanghai are cores.Overall,the tourism cooperation for Yangtze River Economic Zone has developed into a beading and multi-layer pattern.Then,based on the Stakeholder Theory,the Region Cooperation Theory and the Game Theory,this study discussed the driven mechanism for Yangtze River tourism cooperation from three aspects of main stakeholders for tourism cooperation,including tourists,governments and tourism enterprises.First,the regional economic interests pushed governments to release tourism policies and facilitate the tourism cooperation development;Second,the competition among tourism enterprises pushed resources sharing and united development for tourism industry among regions;Third,diverse market demands further pushed the appearance of relationship formation for tourism cooperation.Finally,according to the analysis of current situation and driven mechanism for Yangtze River Tourism Cooperation,on the basis of the Tourism Sustainable Development Theory,the Stakeholder Theory and the Region Cooperation Theory,we summarized the obstacles and problems hindering the tourism cooperation for Yangtze River Economic Zone from four perspectives including foundation support,external risks,cooperation conduction and institutional mechanism.It turns out that we should focus on solving problems of tourism transportation construction,ecological environment protection,branding image building,tourism enterprise'motivation for cooperation,mechanism construction for communication,interests allocation and coordination,etc.On this basis,we proposed below countermeasures to provide references for Yangtze River's tourism integration.First,build integration mechanism for regional cooperation to coordinating the sustainable development of tourism,economy and ecology environment;Second,improve transportation and information construction to promote the inter-regional move of tourists;Third,together developing and promoting tourism products to motivate tourism enterprises to join into tourism cooperation.
