The Empirical Study Of Center City And Regional Economic Growth

The overall coordinated development of regional economy is a crucial strategic goal pursued by our country in the process of economic development.Since the beginning of the Ninth Five-Year Plan,the state has established the unified and coordinated development of regional economy as an important economic development policy.At the same time,the state through the establishment of central cities at all levels,playing a leading role,to achieve regional economic development goals.In view of this,this paper chooses the central city and the regional economy to research.Research methods,this paper uses a combination of theory and practice.First of all,on the basis of combing the existing literature and theory,this paper expounds the mechanism of the central city's regional economic growth from the theoretical level.Secondly,based on the central city's mechanism of regional economic growth,the comprehensive evaluation index system of the central cities covering the four categories and 22 sub-categories of measurable indicators is established,and the comprehensive strength of the central cities in the central region is evaluated and the key points Explanatory variables.At the same time,this paper also uses economic theory model to prove the relationship between the central city and regional economic growth.Finally,through the establishment of quantitative model,select the sample data on the central city and regional economic growth empirical analysis.The results show that:First,the central city's impact on regional economic growth is reflected in the all-round,the stronger the comprehensive evaluation of the central city,the more significant the role of regional economic growth;second,the central city of various functions on the regional economy The role of polarization is often tended to exacerbate the problem of economic imbalances in different regions of the region,while the diffusion of radiation function can effectively reduce the regional differences in the development of different regions.Compared with the previous research literature,this paper further explores the intrinsic link between the central city polarization and the role of diffusion radiation and regional economic development,which provides a more detailed theoretical reference for the national construction of the central city and the coordinated development of regional economy.
