The Cambodian Garment Industry Export International Competitiveness Research

The Cambodian garment industry as one of the pillar industries,economic growth has made a huge contribution to Cambodia,the Cambodian government is attention to the development of the apparel industry.With the development of world economy globalization,Cambodia has joined the WTO,for the Cambodian garment industry abroad,brought opportunities globally.Economic growth at a surprising speed in recent years,Cambodia,the garment industry in economic development under the background of its development speed is bigger achievements were obtained.With the elimination of global textile quotas,and the European Union,the United States,Japan and other countries to give preferential tariff policy,the Cambodian garment industry has benefited from the development of the Cambodian garment industry.In spite of this,but as the formation of the textile industry center in Asia,the Cambodian garment industry is facing new development opportunities,and face the severe test.Therefore,this article to Cambodia's clothing export as the research object,analyses its international market environment,the results found that Cambodia clothing are mainly exported to international market with the European Union,the United States,Japan,Canada,in which the European Union,the United States is the main export market of the Cambodian garment industry,but with southeast Asia China,Indonesia,Vietnam compete against each other.Then using porter masonry theory model analyzes the impact analysis of the causes of the Cambodian garment export competitiveness,and choose the revealed comparative advantage index,international market share,trade competition advantage index,labor wage costs four aspects of the factors on China,Indonesia,Vietnam,Cambodia's garment industry has carried on the comparative analysis,the results found that Cambodia in the trade competition,labor cost advantage has a strong advantage.This research help the Cambodian government and enterprises to understand the international competitiveness to provide a theoretical basis for apparel exports,has a strong show significance.
