Facing with the complex environment and the increasingly fierce competition,modern enterprises can only attain continued success through constant innovation.With the increasing complicated of work and the flattening of organizational structure,team is welcomed by more and more enterprises.Team innovation has caused widely attention from academia.It is widely agreed that team psychological safety has a positive effect on team innovation.But most of the studies focus on the direct relationship between team psychological safety and team innovation,and neglect the specific mechanism between these two variables.How does team psychological safety affect team innovation through the specific mechanism?Voice is very important for a team,many scholars have studied it.However,few researchers put team psychological safety,voice and team innovation together to study them.How do they associate with each other and how team psychological safety affect team innovation through voice?In a team,everyone wants to get a higher status to increase the influence and control of others.Status competition also will inevitably affect team innovation.Therefore,this study also considers the role of status competition when researches the relationship between team psychological and team innovation.Sample in the study is from a large media company and its 29 team and 233 employees.I analyze the data through SPSS 20.0.Result of the empirical study indicates that team psychological safety has a significant positive effect on team innovation.Voice has a mediate effect between team psychological safety and team innovation.Status competition based on prestige has a positive moderate effect to the positive correlation of team psychological safety and voice,thus increasing the positive effect of team psychological safety on voice;while the moderate effect of Status competition based on dominance hasn't been proved.This study reveals how team psyehological safety affect team innovation through a specific mechanism,and somehow tells managers how to guide the status competition and make the full use of team psychological safety and voice to inspire team innovation.
