In the active phased array system,the digital phase shifter is widely used in the phase adjustment of antenna array because of its simple structure and stable phase shift.However the digital phase shifter can only provide discrete phase-shift.The error of phase adjustment results in the increase of the beam pointing error of phased array antenna.Therefore,in order to improve the beam pointing accuracy of the phased array antenna,the design and implementation of the high-precision wave control algorithm for the active phased array antenna is studied in this paper,based on a triangular array active phased array antenna.Firstly,the analysis of beam scanning and the realization of low sidelobe antenna are completed according to the distribution of array antenna and requirements of beam pointing for a triangular active phased array antenna.In view of the fact that digital phase shifter can only provide discrete phasor,a high-precision beam-pointing algorithm based on sequential phase-fed calculation method is proposed in order to improve the beam pointing accuracy of phased array antenna.The detailed steps of the algorithm are given,and the performance of the algorithm is analyzed by simulation,including beam pointing accuracy and computational complexity.Secondly,based on the two-stage frame of the wave control system,the design of the testing software of the wave control system is completed,including the design of the control instructions,the calculation of the amplitude and phase control word,the amplitude and phase control of the T/R module and the temperature monitoring of array antenna.Finally,in aim of the storage and acquirement of amplitude and phase data of array antenna elements in the wave control system,the realization of on-line storage of amplitude and phase data based on NOR-Flash is completed,including the design of upper monitor and FPGA driver software for data storage.
