In recent years,we have witnessed the size of the mobile industry ushered in the explosive growth.Due to the unique flexibility of mobile devices,the mobile applications(or simply,"Apps")gradually replace the traditional computer desktop applications become the first choice in a variety of areas.Everyday people use mobile applications to read,socialize online,do shopping,play games and do other activities,which has become an integral part of daily life.In particular,because of Android's open source nature and its large share of the market,many studies are focused on Android applications.With the continued rapid growth in the number of applications,the demand for tools for automatically testing mobile applications has also grown,and with it the amount of research in this area.In this paper,we propose a mobile application testing method based on GUI Ripping technology,which realizes the DFS exploration of Android applications without the need of application source code.To validate the effectiveness and feasibility of the method,we implemented a prototype tool.The tool is built on top of the UiAutomator2.0 framework.It uses APIs provided by the framework and dumpsys tools to extract the information of the app under test to generate executable events and then simulation of user interaction with the GUI.In the experimental verification,the selected application is tested.Results show that the tool can launch and explore the under test applications automatically and achive relatively higher Activity coverage.It indicates that the method proposed in this paper is feasible and effective.
