The History Of Newspapers And Periodicals In Changshu (1904-1949)

Changshu newspapers and periodicals seemed to be a treasure trove that had not been fully exploredin the period of the Republic of China.Even after the social turbulence drifted away,the collections of the Changshu Archives still reached 110 species.These newspapers and magazines displayed various aspects of Changshu society in different periods between various historical nodes such as the late Qing Dynasty and early Republic of China,the May 4th Movement,the beginning of the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression,the occupation of Japan,and the liberation of Changshu.They also showed different development trends and trends.This article uses the collection of the old newspapers and magazines,old newspapers,retelling,Changshu city history and other materials,combing the development history of the newspapers and periodicals of Changshu during the period of the Republic of China,and dividing it into the late Qing Dynasty and early Republic of China to the "May 4th Movement"(1904-1919),May 4th to the beginning of the War of Resistance(1919-1931),the beginning of the War of Resistance to the fall of Changshu(1931-1937.7),the period of Japanese occupation and occupation(1937.7-1945.8),victory of the Anti-Japanese War From the five historical stages of the establishment of the People's Republic of China(1945.8-1949),the general development characteristics of each stage were summarized,and the important newspapers and periodicals in the stage were introduced in detail,and the social influence and role were studied in a combined manner.As well as the"objectivity" and "liberal" tendencies of the news.
