| In the digital information age,photography has become a way for us to observe and record life and society,and gradually integrated into our daily life.With the emergence of a large number of photographs,how to make rational use of these photographs has become a problem.From the perspective of photo archives,once these disordered photographs are "returned" to the archives,it becomes an important evidence that each individual writes together and reflects historical facts from multiple perspectives.However,according to the author's research,archives and libraries at home and abroad have begun to establish their own databases.At present,there is no photo archives database established solely for the special attributes of photographs in China.A large number of photo descriptions are incomplete,and the content is out of the subject,which makes the meaning of photographs blurred and affects the positivity of photographs.This paper analyses two excellent cases of foreign image archives,and combines the two most important factors of Photography-time and place to make a frame of photo archives,which can provide new ideas and ways for viewers and researchers to interpret photographs. |
