Wireless charging is a promising technology to solve the energy limitation problem faced by wireless sensor networks.Recent studies have shown that the introduction of a resonant repeater in a wireless rechargeable sensor network,which is aimed to achieve multi-hop charging of sensor nodes,can significantly extend the charging distance of the mobile charging device,and reduce the charging delay of the node,and improve overall the charging efficiency.Considering the factor of network cost,it is the research focus in this paper to deploy a limited number of repeaters in the network to realize the charging coverage of sensor nodes,which can further improve the network charging efficiency.In this article,our focus is on the position planning of charging repeaters.Since multi-hop charging efficiency is affected by two factors,namely the effective transmission distance of energy and the number of energy relay hops,therefore this paper proposes two different solutions to optimize the position of repeaters,which is aimed to improve the network charging efficiency.The details are as follows:First,a new method of deploying a resonant repeater(TMWRN)is proposed.In this paper,it is proposed to determine the charging position of the repeater by using the properties of circumcircle and the midpoint of the two nodes,which can realize the charging coverage of the sensor nodes in the network with a smaller number of repeaters.Simulation experiments show that TMWRN can effectively improve the charging efficiency of the network and reduce the charging cost of the mobile charging device and achieve the sustainable operation of the network.Second,in the above scheme,when a charging relay is deployed,only the charging coverage of the node by a single charging relay is considered,and the full charging coverage of the node by the relay is not considered.In order to solve the problem in the above charging scheme,this paper proposes how to achieve full multi-hop charging coverage of nodes in a wireless rechargeable sensor network with fewest resonant repeaters,and gives a deployment method of the repeater relays(TRLDS)that can achieve full and multi-hop charging coverage of sensor nodes.First,the entire network is divided by a cellular mesh determined by the multi-hop charging effective distance,and a repeater is deployed at the center of each mesh to ensure full multi-hop charging coverage.Second,we designed a set of rules to remove redundant repeaters and meanwhile to optimize the placement of necessary repeaters in the grid to improve charging efficiency.Simulation experiments show that the proposed method can achieve full charging coverage of the nodes with fewer charging repeaters,and can achieve high-efficiency energy supplement for wireless rechargeable sensor networks at a lower cost.
