With the rapid development of science and technology,The short range detection technology has been widely studied and applied in various fields.For the sake of meeting the needs of different detection systems,the requirements for the performance of the antenna are getting higher and higher.Meanwhile,continuous wave linear frequency modulation system has been gradually paid attention and applied.This antenna main indicators:The frequency of antenna work:24GHz?24.1GHz;Antenna VSWR:VSWR?2;Antenna gain:Gain?8dB;half power beam width:10°?30°,-10°?-30°.For the antenna index,this paper designed two kinds of 24GHz antenna:the three-order double-sided rectangular step waveguide antennas and The forward tilting radiation micro-strip quasi-Yagi antenna.The third-order double-sided rectangular staircase waveguide antenna adopts the structure of the three-step waveguide,and the feeding transition adopts the E-surface micro-strip probe-waveguide conversion structure,which effectively reduces the antenna size.The forward tilting radiation micro-strip quasi-Yagi antenna is based on the structure of a quasi-Yagi antenna and the six micro-strip quasi-Yagi antenna units are coaxial fed,simplifying the feed structure,reducing the size of the antenna and thus also bringing the antenna to the side The effect of radiation.Make antenna material and measure the antenna's S11 and radiation pattern.Simulation and actual test results show that:Both antennas have wide working bandwidth;Waveguide antenna is forward radiation with a gain of 8.4ldB.The half power beam width(HPBW)of the E-plane pattern is 106.12°and the HPBW of the H-plane pattern is 75.54°.The quasi-Yagi antenna is a lateral radiation with a gain of 11.11dB and a beam inclination angle of 20°;Both antennas meet design specifications.Secondly,the design of continuous wave linearly tuned frequency front-end based on BGT24MTR12 is described.Use Altium Designer software to design circuit design and PCB layout,and make PCB circuit board.The VCO linearity and output power of the circuit are tested.The test shows that the VCO has a high linearity with in 24GHz?24.1GHz and the transmit power meets the requirements of the project.Receive and dispatch the chip and receive the pass way to carry on the simulation test,the experiments show that the receiving channel is working normally.
