With the development of intelligence and perception technology,UAV has been widely applied in many fields in recent years,especially the automatic patrol management of power grid,making large and medium-sized UAVs available.However,when unmanned aerial vehicles are in the ultra-low-flying flight inspection,the complex environment,power lines,towers and other obstacles to the flight of unmanned aerial vehicles have brought security risks.Therefore,the paper studies the "broadband LFM millimeter wave avoidance radar"based on the 'automatic inspection project of unmanned aerial vehicle power line' by the southern Power Grid Corp.The arrangement of the paper is as follows:First of all,the paper analyzes the working principle and working performance of broadband LFM millimeter-wave obstacle avoidance radar system and deeply studies the characteristics of LFMCW and de-slope processing technology,putting forward the construction of unmanned aerial line inspection obstacle avoidance radar and developing a millimeter-wave radar system.Secondly,this paper establishes the mathematical model of the power line.The principle and method of power line detection by high resolution millimeter wave radar are studied.The backscattering characteristics of millimeter waveband are simulated and analyzed.Thirdly,The power line detection test was carried out on the developed broadband chirped millimeter-wave radar,and the theoretical analysis of the test data was analyzed.Fourthly,for the requirements of millimeter-wave radar for power line detection and recognition,the dissertation studies the algorithm of power line identification.According to the influence of ground clutter on power line detection,the paper mainly studies the application of Hough transform,decision tree algorithm and support vector machine algorithm in power line detection.The experiments and studies above provide technical support and theoretical basis for the application of broadband FM millimeter-wave obstacle avoidance radar in UAV ultra-low altitude exploration.
