With the rapid development of 5G technology,millimeter wave has become one of the research hotspots because of its broadband characteristics,which can meet the needs of 5G's super-large data transmission.Therefore,it is very necessary to establish a channel propagation model consistent with the actual channel through the in-depth simulation analysis of millimeter wave radio channel.Based on support vector machine algorithm,this paper studies the propagation characteristics of indoor millimeter wave frequency band.Particle swarm optimization was used to optimize the parameters of SVM algorithm.The prediction accuracy of SVM model is effectively improved,which provides theoretical basis for 5G indoor millimeter wave indoor signal coverage.The main research contents and contributions of this paper are as follows:(1)firstly,the research status of indoor millimeter wave propagation characteristics and relevant theoretical basis of support vector machines are summarized.The algorithm flow and computer realization steps of support vector machine for predicting indoor millimeter wave propagation characteristics are described in detail.(2)correctness verification: based on support vector machine algorithm theory,the propagation characteristics of T corridor environment with 60 GHz are studied.The model of support vector machine is established based on the actual measured received power sample data.(3)prediction accuracy analysis: the influence of the parameter penalty factor and the selection of kernel parameters on the prediction accuracy of the trained SVM model was analyzed.It is studied that finding the optimal parameters by particle swarm optimization algorithm can effectively improve the prediction accuracy of SVM model.The method of particle swarm optimization is compared with that of grid search and genetic algorithm.The simulation results show that the particle swarm optimization algorithm has high prediction accuracy in building indoor millimeter wave SVM model.(4)effectiveness analysis: based on the support vector machine model optimized by particle swarm optimization,the indoor propagation characteristics of 60 GHz millimeter wave were analyzed.The millimeter wave band propagation environment in the laboratory was selected and the simulation data based on the ray tracing method was used to establish the SVM model.By comparing the predicted value of the model with the simulated value,the consistency is good.The correctness of the indoor millimeter wave propagation characteristics used in the SVM model optimized by the particle swarm optimization algorithm is verified.
