With the rapid development of television business and the proportion of cultural consumption,people’s demand for television culture is also getting higher and higher,which has contributed to the fierce competition of television channels today,and has also led to the rapid development of the television channel packaging industry.Today’s TV channel packaging design is not just adding dazzling visual experience.To achieve higher social and economic value,we must grasp the changing laws of the audience’s demand level and pay attention to the importance of the psychological characteristics of the media audience.From emphasis on functional,technical,aesthetic to attention to emotional and humanistic aspects.This paper by emotional appeal as the breakthrough point,through analyzing the example of Jiangsu TV channel packaging and research,summary,induces the television channel packing some characteristics of emotional design,and attempt to apply emotional design idea and method to the TV channel packaging,to meet the needs of the audience’s mental and emotional needs,and emotional TV channel packaging design research to bring positive significance.
