Traditional differential pressure flow meter,such as orifice plate,Venturi tube,pitot tube still occupy a large proportion in the field of flow measurement,but because of traditional differential pressure sensor sensing medium is non passive,which makes its performance in terms of explosion-proof no better than fiber sensor.Fiber sensor,which has many irreplaceable advantages,the characteristics of passive making fiber sensor adapted to the inflammable and explosive environment.So this article combine FBG with traditional flow meter,designing an FBG differential pressure flow sensor.The main topics of this thesis are as follows:This article introduces the principle “Bernoulli principle” flow measurement.On the basis of the basic expression of FBG equation analyzes the FBG pressure,temperature characteristics,deduced the corresponding flow characteristic equation,differential equations and the flow characteristics of temperature compensation algorithm.When makes FBG differential pressure type flow sensor based on traditional pitot tube flow meter.Designing the construction of FBG differential pressure flow meter pressure structure.Using 3D drawing software solidworks to draw the diagram,and making form the material object according to the diagram.Putting the FBG flow sensor into the laboratory of the sensor calibration system to do the dynamic and static experiment,and using origin software to fit the data,and get the fitting equation and fitting curve.By fitting equation and curve analysis shows that the production of fiber grating designed differential pressure flow sensor has good linearity and repeatability is a simple installation,high precision,for flammable,explosive atmosphere used fiber grating differential pressure flow sensor.
