In order to explore the effect of happy gymnastics on the executive function of primary school students in the process of physical education,and to explore the feasibility of improving the executive function of primary school students through happy gymnastics exercises,this article uses research methods such as literature,psychological measurement,mathematical statistics,and experimental methods.Sixty students were selected from the fourth grade students of Qinlan Elementary School,Tianchang City,Chuzhou City,Anhui Province.They were randomly divided into the experimental group(N = 30)and the control group(N = 30).The experimental group lasted for 10 weeks,each week.Three times,a total of 30 lessons and 40 minutes of happy gymnastics intervention,the control group took regular physical education classes according to the same cycle,frequency,class and duration.The Achenbach,s Child Behavior Scale(CBCL)was used to exclude students with psychological and behavioral abnormalities,and then the E-Prime 2.0 system was used to test the three sub-functions of the child's executive function.The average response time and correct rate of the tasks corresponding to each sub-function The criterion for evaluating executive function was to perform independent sample t-test and paired sample t-test on the test results of each sub-function of the experimental group and the control group before and after the experiment,and draw the results and conclusions.Results:(1)Ten weeks of regular physical education did not improve the response time of primary students 'inhibition function,but improved the correct rate of inhibition function;10 weeks of regular physical education did not improve the response time and accuracy of primary students' refresh function,conversion function.(2)The 10-week happy gymnastic exercise intervention improved the response time and correct rate of primary students' inhibition function,refresh function and conversion function.(3)After 10 weeks of experimental intervention,the response time and correct rate of inhibition function,refresh function and conversion function of primary school students in the experimental group were better than those in the control group.Conclusion:(1)Intervention in regular physical education for 10 weeks can improve the suppression function of primary school students,but not the refresh function and conversion function of primary school students.(2)The 10-week happygymnastics intervention can improve the suppression function,refresh function and conversion function of primary school students.(3)The 10-week happy gymnastics intervention in primary school students' inhibition function,refresh function and conversion function is better than the regular physical education intervention effect.
