Teaching materials play a significant role in the curriculum reform and real teaching situations.The comparison among them can promote textbook writers to further understand educational philosophy and ideas,inherit and further develop their excellent styles.Meanwhile,it can also help students and teachers integrate the textbook structural system,use teaching materials rationally and effectively and improve the quality of education and teaching eventually.Based on the Interpretive Structural Model(ISM),this thesis makes a comparative analysis of Contents under the "Vibration and wave" topics of Physics published by People's Education Press,Holt physics and Physics for you.The procedures of this study are as follows:the extraction of key elements,the formation of the relationship between elements,the solution to the matrix,and finally drawing hierarchical map.Furthermore,according to the final hierarchical graph,the comparison will be conducted between the same content in the three books from four perspectives: the selection of elements,the arrangement of initial elements,the arrangement of node elements,and the relationship between elements.This thesis compares and studies the structure of three sets of textbooks,analyzes and summarizes the similarities in the compilation of three sets of textbooks.The main contents are:(1)The arrangement of knowledge pays attention to the foundation and universality.(2)The presentation of knowledge focuses on the unity of science and interest.(3)Attach much importance to the function of experimental teaching.Due to the differences in curriculum objectives,student cognition,values,emotions and attitudes,and social needs in different countries,there are some differences in the choice of key elements,presentation of physics concepts,formation paths,and presentation methods of the three sets of textbooks.Based on the comparison of the three sets of textbooks,this thesis provides some reference and basis for Chinese textbook writers and first-line physics teachers,and put forward some research suggestions for the reform and use of textbooks:(1)The arrangement of knowledge should be done step by step,knowledge framework should be integrated.(2)The perspective of knowledge presentation should be diversified.In brief,in the process of textbook arrangement and teaching design,the path of relationship formation of the elements should be more in line with the psychological development of students.
