Physics education through toys is quite a popular method in foreign countries yet it is not been widely used in our country.In order to diversifies curriculum resources and promote the application of toys in junior high school physics teaching,this paper discusses the relationship between toy curriculum resources and other physical curriculum resources.And it also summarizes the characteristics of toy curriculum resources.The aim of this study is to observe how the results of toy curriculum resources application would be in physics teaching.In this sense,this study was carried out after the analyzing of junior high school physics textbooks published by Jiangsu Science and Technology Publishing House.And the author has designed 6 teaching cases guided by the theory of constructivism.The sampling of study is composed of Grade 8 students who learn physics at the very beginning.In the experimental group,selected toys include music box with handle,infrared helicopter,kaleidoscope and so on.And in the control group,other curriculum resources are used.After a semester,students were tested the scale of physical learning interest,and the data of the scale was analyzed combining with the teaching process.It was concluded that,1.The application of toy curriculum resources can improve the students' interest in physics learning to a certain extent,among which the interest in transferring application is remarkably increased,and the interest in expanding knowledge is significantly increased;2.The application of toy curriculum resources may have a positive impact on students' interest of devotion to learning,cognition the relationship of concepts and operation of experiments.On the contrary,have a negative impact on their interest in overcoming difficulties.But none of the above reflect the statistical differences.3.Toy curriculum resources are supplement to the current curriculum resources,which have the same value as other curriculum resources.It suggested that,the toys used in physics lectures must serve for the teaching objects,and conform to students' experience.Additionally,the use of toys should be moderate.
