| More and more attention has been paid to school sex education.With the better understanding of the current situation of adolescent sex education in junior high school through the literature study and student questionnaire,the author develops adolescent sex education courses suitable for junior high school students to learn,design curriculum evaluation,and constantly improve the curriculum in the implementation process which the paper mainly consists of,so as to provide scientific practical experience for junior high school to carry out adolescent sex education,as well as the resources for other schools to refer to when they carry out relevant courses.This paper is made up of six parts.The first part mainly explains the current problems and the reasons of the research,the purposes and importance of the research and the research methods.The definition of the concepts of adolescence and sex education,the explanation of the current situation of sex education at home and abroad,the summary of the literature study of the domestic school sex education research.The second part shows the author’s understanding of the current situation of sex education in a junior high school in Shanghai.Through the questionnaire survey of 286 students and the research of the teaching materials relevant to the sex education,it is concluded that the learning time of puberty physical health in junior middle school is later than the physical development time of junior middle school students;the total class hours related to puberty sex education in junior middle school curriculum are far too little;The content of education in puberty knowledge can be divided into four categories in the following teaching materials,“science”,“life science”,“morality and law ”;the relevant content in the teaching materials are mainly based on word description.In the third part,according to the current situation of sex education,the author designs the sex education curriculum for junior middle school students,sets the curriculum goals,develops “Required courses in life”,the sex education curriculum suitable for junior middle school students,which includes 6 topics,namely "Wonderful body code","Little things in growing up ","Growing pains",“How to deal with people”,“Youth contract” and“Self-protection of sex”.In the fourth part,the author designs the different evaluation scales to test the performances of students and teachers as well as the effect of the curriculum implementation.The evaluation scales mainly includes the evaluation of students’ class performance,students’ portfolio and students’ stage performances so as to promote the development of “Required courses in life”,the sex education curriculum.The fifth part explains how the author carries out the sex education curriculum based on her design,which is mainly conducted by teaching in class,posting on Wechat and etc.The teaching practice involves 18 periods of teaching in class,26 times of posts in Wechat and several teaching experiments.In the sixth part,the author sums up the teaching experience in the development and implementation of adolescent sex education curriculum in junior high school,and summarizes the strategy of carrying out the curriculum,which is that various teaching methods are helpful to carry out the adolescent sex education.Establishing students’ file bags is an effective method to evaluate the process of sex education curriculum in junior middle school.Posting on WeChat is an effective way to conduct adolescent sex education on the Internet.On the basis of the above conclusions,the author also points out the shortcomings of this paper and the future research direction. |
