It is necessary for education to follow up the development of the times and the needs of society.New curriculum reform requires teachers to change traditional teaching thinking,give full play to the leading role,help students build knowledge independently,and let students become masters of study.As an important theoretical basis for the new curriculum reform,constructivism holds that creating a situation conducive to learners’ construction of meaning is the most important link or aspect in teaching design.In 2017,the promulgation of the new curriculum standard of senior high school clarified the four core qualities of geography,and pointed out in the teaching proposals that the necessary intuitive means and life experience should be supplemented to strengthen students’ thinking training in the geographical situation,which highlights the importance of situational teaching and points out the direction of geography teaching in junior high school.This paper explicates the situational teaching research background、domestic and abroad research status through the relevant literature research,and defines the related core concepts about core literacy and situational teaching.Through the questionnaire,analyze the creation of teaching situation existing problems and propose the geography situational teaching in junior middle school which is face to core literacy should cultivate "people develop in full scale" as a starting point,follow the independence,innovation and scientific nature principles.Development "geographical core literacy" as the foothold,propose that start from the connotation of geographical core literacy,explicate the teaching goal is the basis;combine with the geography subject characteristics,cultivate geographical emotion as destination;combine with all kinds of teaching methods,enrich the types of situation as the focus points;pay attention to the evaluation of situation creating effect and improve geographical literacy as the purpose;teachers enhance theoretical knowledge learning and possess situations creating ability is the key,create a relaxed environment for teachers,it is premise to possess the possibility of situations creating ability and six strategy of situations creating,combine with teaching cases,analyze how to create a core literacy of teaching situation according to teaching links,hope to provide a reference for front-line geography teachers.
