| Western orchestra has a history of more than 400 years since its development in Europe in the 17 th century.Because of its unique performance charm and magnificent sound effect,it is deeply loved by music lovers.In 1881,the first "Shanghai public Orchestra" was founded in the British and American concessions in Shanghai,China,and gradually spread across the country,becoming a popular form of music performance.In the 2011 edition of compulsory education music curriculum standard,it is pointed out that "learning instrumental music plays a very important role in stimulating students’ interest in learning,improving their understanding,expression and creativity of music".At present,primary school orchestras have been set up in primary schools in China.However,due to the late start and short development time of Chinese Orchestras,the lack of certain theoretical basis and a large number of practical experience,there are some problems in the teaching activities of primary school orchestras,such as the uneven performance level of students,the short time of practicing,the lack of independent ability,the single teaching method of teachers,and the lack of teacher training,Lack of students’ favorite rehearsal repertoire and lack of innovation ability in teaching.This paper collects and arranges more than 300 documents and materials,studies a large number of relevant laws and regulations and curriculum standards,and makes in-depth investigation on the four aspects of the students’ learning status,teachers’ teaching status,curriculum nature and classroom culture of the western orchestra community teaching in primary schools through observation.The basic information and learning situation of the students are investigated and analyzed through the questionnaire survey method,and the current teaching situation and course nature of the western orchestra teachers in primary schools in China are described in detail through the interview method.In order to further enrich the primary school western orchestra teaching methods and curriculum optimization,in order to improve the primary school orchestra training and management standardization,teaching mode rationalization,teachers equipped with reasonable and perfect equipment.In order to improve the quality of teaching and promote the mass teaching of Western orchestras in primary schools,the investigation results and theoretical basis are provided. |
